10 years ago the idea of a knitwear brand called Francie was born. The vision was knitwear that moved with different body shapes, made locally from natural fibres.
The first piece was inspired by rectangular shapes used in Japanese zero-waste design, boxy in the body yet slightly cropped to swing over dresses, skirts, and wide trousers. After many samples and prototypes, the result was the Doll's Jumper.
 Still a beloved corner-stone of the collection a decade on, the doll's jumper has proved itself to be a modern classic.
